After getting the chance to meet with some amazing community leaders such as Joann Landry and Tim Newell and interacting with both the Trumbull Village and Fair West Neighborhood Associations it seems that everyone is excited to getting the air healthy and clean. Both of the associations allowed me to speak to their groups which are a mixture of home owners and multi-unit housing renters, but both were open and excited for the possibly of keeping their air in their homes clean. After discussion with residents it was clear that they viewed the consequences of second hand smoke to be detrimental. Commenting on areas such as damaged home interior to causing asthma attacks in neighbors. Residents took the materials back with them in hopes of relaying to their own property managers as well as friends in the area who may be suffering from lung disease.
